Title: [Question] What Even Is Consistency?
Post by: Toothpaste on August 16, 2015, 07:45:19 am
The show has a timeline and this forum has a timeline, but where does it all split? I mean, we can't be roleplaying in the time of the show as it progresses, because every time the show makes a month pass by, the forum would have managed to get by maybe a single day.

This raises another problem for me... Someone can leave one area in the RP and spend a night elsewhere before returning. However, not even five minutes could have passed in that other thread that they originally left by the time they return from a night elsewhere.

The laws of the universe are exploding in my mind right now. Please fix my brain, or please tell me not to be a worry-wart and just have fun.

Thank you~

This forum and all events don't run parallel to the show lore. You are able to reference events that happen in the show, but both the show and this forum don't run parallel. Its kinda hard to explain.

It's pretty much a wibbly wobbly, timey wimey ball of roleplay.

By the responses received I'm going to assume that I am being a bum and should not worry about such a thing, no matter how mind boggling it is.

But what about the problem of inconsistent times in different threads being crossed over? Or is that me being a bum again?

Thats your choice whether you want threads to be crossed over or not. Sometimes, people want to finish up their ideas without interruptions and that it fine. Not every thread has to take place at the same time. Don't put too much thought into these things though. I know it can get confusing.
