Foxtrot's ear flicked at Tinder's suggestion; although he would rather steal a few items off some clueless sap, the last thing he needs is another run in with the law. "Alright, story time it is. You've helped me escape so I at least owe you that. Oh, before I begin though..." He gets up and approaches the divider. Slowly he opens it and pokes his head out, calling for a stewardess for assistance. "Excuse me ma'am, may I have a cup of coffee and..." The unicorn looks over to Tinder, "You want anything?"

Tinder quickly hides the dagger as he opens the divider, "Um, cup of coffee and a glass of water please." She taps on the seat as she watches him, excited to hear this story of why all these people are chasing him. Also excited about getting some coffee, her energy was running low and she needed a little boost to keep her going the rest of the day.

"Alright, make that two coffees and two waters please." the unicorn asks the stewardess. As she nods and heads off to get their order, Foxtrot closes the divider and sits back down. "Ok, before we get to the good stuff I should explain why I was there to begin with. At the time I worked for the Royal Guard, but I was also an agent for a freelance group called The 26. Those guys were in Saddle Arabia to assist their government at quelling a ten year insurrection. We did reconnaissance, hit and run, body guarding and transport. I was there for at least a year, and by that time the insurrection was already pushed back to its last fortifications; it was just a matter or finishing them off. All that was left was their last General, who holed up in the town of Calais."

There was a knock on the divider right after. Foxtrot gets back up and opens the divider. The stewardess passes over the beverages, Foxtrot gives Tinder her drinks and gets his own. With a polite nod the attendant leaves, closing the divider behind her as she left.

Tinder leans forward and listens quite intently as he starts his story. Her head quickly turning when she hears the knock, she had already forgot about the order he had placed and it gave her a bit of a fright. She calms down again as the drinks get passed to her and goes to work on them with her magic. Taking the coffee and freezing it in such a way that it turns into a cold slush instead of a hot coffee, she takes a sip from it and smiles a bit as she tastes the cold caffeine filled drink. "There we go, perfect. I can cool down yours if it's too hot."

"Nah I'm good for now." Foxtrot replies as he gets back to his seat. He places the water in the nearby cup holder and holds the coffee by hoof, taking a sip he then resumes. "Alright, now where were we..." The unicorn taps his chin a few times before recalling his last sentence, "Oh yeah, Calais. So the general is camped in a remote town of Calais, mostly agricultural but they fortified it like a base. It rested on a lakebed, perfect for growing crops since they had a dam sealing off the adjacent river. The 26 are tasked to take this guy down; unfortunately the only agent within a hundred miles of that place was me. I was given some supplies, weapons, and a stash of dynamite." Foxtrot scoots closer to the window and looks out, hearing the whistle of the train as it departs the station. "I went in at night, stopped by the dam first, then made my way to the general." The unicorn's tone becomes more somber, "Things didn't go as planned and I got pinned in a tower... the general was getting away..." The unicorn looks down at his coffee, "I detonated the dynamite, blew up the damn, and flooded Calais. The explosion was the only warning the town had before being engulfed by the river." He turns his gaze forward, leaning back to rest his head on the seat. "It drew the guards off me. From there I just ziplined across half of the town and swam my way through the other. I found the general trying to get on a boat with his last three guards." His eyes close as he takes a deep breath, "I killed them too. By this time the target was battered, unable to move, and still spewing insults..." Foxtrot takes another sip of his drink and remains silent, still not finishing his story.

Tinder sits there and listens to him intently, sipping her slush coffee and laying her water next to his in the cup holder. About half way through his story she glances over at the divider and quickly ices it shut so no one can open it. As soon as she finishes icing the door closed she goes back to watching him tell his story. When he stops she just smiles at him slightly, not wanting to push him to tell the rest of the story, she knows how much hauling up bad memories like this can hurt. "I'm sorry you had to do that, thank you for telling me what happened though. I know it was probably hard."

Foxtrot lightly chuckled as he looked over to his coffee, taking a gulp before glancing over to Tinder. "Yea, in more ways than one. Still, it ended the conflict and stopped the insurrection; the country was at peace since then. I try to rationalize it at times. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't make any damn sense. So what about you, Tinder? You have any tales to tell?"

Tinder nods at him, "I certainly understand the choice you made." She picks up her coffee and looks into the cup, trying to make it as cold as she can without turning it to ice with her magic. "I got as many tales as the next thief out there. Anything in particular you want to hear or should I just pick a random story out of my bag?"

"A random story will do." Foxtrot answers. "Surprise me."

Tinder looks up as she tries to think of something to tell him, sure she has plenty of stories but trying to think of one to tell is a difficult task. Especially since most of them have segments that she simply cannot remember. "Well, I don't really know which story to tell you. Would you rather one about my past or one about my adventures of thievery?"

"Well technically when you look at it any thieving story you tell is part of your past." Foxtrot remarks. "Lets go with a tale of theft for now."

Tinder chuckles as he says this, "Yeah I know that. I just meant my past like childhood and stuff." She takes another sip as she thinks of which story to tell him, as she finally does she smiles a little and looks over at him. "I could tell you about the time I stole from the leader of the biggest gang in Manehattan on accident. Sound like a interesting enough story? "

Foxtrot chuckles, "You had me at 'by accident' Tinder. Go for it." By now the unicorn has finished his coffee and moves on to his water, swapping the cups in the holder.

Tinder is still slowly sipping on her own coffee as she stares forward, trying to remember the details of the story she decided to tell. "Alright, well it was about 3 years before I moved here. So I was around 19 in Manehattan and running very low on money. Like low enough that I had to make the choice of either eating or paying off enough of my debt to keep my legs not broken. I had spent a couple days looking for an easy mark to target and I found a house that I thought just some rich idiot owned, it didn't seem like it had all that great of security but I didn't care enough to see who the owner was, just wanted to get some cash and go." She glances over at the divider as she tells her story, making sure that the ice holding the door shut is still going strong. "Anyway, I decided to hit this house and the job went fairly smoothly, got in and out without too many problems. Managed to get a nice bit, not all that much cash but a lot of stuff I could pawn off. I should have done more research before going in and sized up the security more then I did, because I ended up not noticing something fairly important, which was the camera near the door." She chuckles a little as she takes another sip, "Next thing I know I got ponies following me every where I go and soon enough I end up at the wrong side of a knife with a gang leader at the other end."

Foxtrot couldn't help but lean forward, "Woah, that escalated quickly. Yea, you never forget the first time a group has a ton of weapons aimed at you."
