After Nivalia's response, Broadshield nods a few times to show that he understands. Upon Nivalia continuing, Broadshield watches intently and silently at the whole process. Eventually, Nivalia and Foxtrot both collapse, right as the train begins to move. Getting onto his hooves, he moves over to Nivalia, making sure he doesn't trip over anything. "Oh jeez, are you alright?" he asks Nivalia, unsure whether or not she is conscious.
