"Excellent, good to hear." Ebony exclaims as he trots towards their destination. After some time travelling and conducting small talk the two end up at the Dog and Bull Tavern. Several guards are seen conversing at the few outside tables, the barkeep stepping in to serve a round of beverages. "Here we are, after you." The captain holds the door open for Al, revealing the subtle atmosphere as the aroma of warm meals permeate the air around them. Casks of ale line the back wall as a large counter for the bar is found lined in the center of the establishment, the hub of activity for those looking for a refreshment.

"Wonderful!" Coldsteel exclaims, already having a place in mind. "Follow me; I know of a joint that has the best beer battered pretzels around." As the captain begins trotting forward, he stretches his wings into the air. "It's called the Dog and Bull tavern, and is only a few blocks down the road."

Ebony shakes his head, "No it's not a very long process at all. Update some forms, run a medical exam again and pick up where you left off. If you fell as if you need to retake a few then we can arrange that too." The captain lifts his hoof to cover the suppressed yawn that suddenly emerges, "Sorry, it's been one heck of a day and I haven't had my evening drinks. How about this..." He pats Al's shoulder with friendly vigor, "Why not join me for a few drinks? I'll cover the beverages."

Without saying a word Ebony moves from cover to cover until he ends up with the others. Positioning himself behind Insta Form, he pats her on the shoulder to let her know he's there. Performing a quick reload and check of his gear, he waits for his team to make the next move.

"Anyone who is hiring? Hmm..." Ebony pauses as he contemplates the answer. "Well I know the Lunar Guard is always open for you. We can pick up where you left off, finish the training and offer a full or part time position. Other than that it really depends on what skill set you're offering. From I saw back in your training days, a courier service could be a good fit, or body guarding as well."

As the action intensifies in the lot, Ebony stays to a low crouch as he heads over to a large SUV facing towards the now arriving guards. Standing up he bashes the window, setting off the alarm and drawing their attention and gunfire. Throwing himself into the drivers seat, he pulls off the cover under the wheel and begins to hotwire the car, turning off the alarm immediately. With the rev of the engine he puts it in drive and speeds it towards them. Once he's close enough he jumps out and let's the vehicle slam into the cars parked near the group, sending one crashing into two of them and sending the others to the floor. As they get up Ebony unloads a clip onto them, taking them out instantly. Finding himself a good distance ahead of his team, he decides to dig in behind cover and wait for them.

"Al-Sal him!" Ebony says, his ears peeking up immediately. He nods, "Of course, now I remember. You were part of the training curriculum. As I recall you were one of three in the entire history of the Lunar Guard to complete the Crucible (obstacle course) in record time. It's unfortunate you had to leave early, but I'm sure you had your reasons. So how have you been? What brings you to Canterlot?"

Ebony quickens his pace to catch up with the stranger up ahead. "Nothing urgent citizen I just..." He takes a deep breath and relaxes, dropping the stoic attitude of the guard. "You uh, seem very familiar. Have we met before? Were you part of a guard unit? Sorry I just... you look like someone I used to know back in the day."

Ebony leaves the castle after filling out the last of the paperwork required for the apprehension and transfer of the Directors after their capture, if they are captured at all. Cadance's assistance certainly made the process much faster, but it still was a lengthy process. The night was still young, especially for a Noctral, so sleep was the last thing on his mind. A stroll through the city would certainly be enough for him to clear his mind of all of the craziness he came across in the past few hours. Still, it was hard not to worry about the others, going after the organization that trained one of his closest friends to be a weapon of mass destruction. Shaking the thought off, the captain continues down the road, deciding that a drink or two are certainly in order. Turning a corner, he finds himself walking a short distance behind another stallion enjoying the evening. His appearance does draw the noctral's attention, a certain familiarity taking hold, like a distant memory he can't quite grasp. Shrugging, he decides to use his authority as an excuse to speak to the stranger ahead. "Excuse me, citizen. A moment of your time please?"

Ebony follows close behind the others, noting the bodies but not saying anything about it. Taking cover behind  support beam he looks down at his laser designator, leaving it alone until he finds out the proper way to use it. Looking over cover, he scans the lot for any movement or vantage points. There are plenty of objects scattered around, so lots of cover to not only hide behind, but watch out for as well.

As the group continues forward, Ebony remains in the back. His eyes scan around them for any signs of movement in case anyone tries to flank them.

Ebony returns to Morgan, scoops up an earpiece, and puts it on. After starting it he cringes from a burst of unexpected static. "Damn! Other than the ringing, I hear you loud and clear."

As the group begins their main attack, Ebony slips off to the side and makes his at along the far side of the office. With his suppressed weapon he picks off any other guards waiting in cover. Passing a cubicle a hand reaches out and smacks his gun out of his grasp. An awaiting guard springs out from the corner, dagger in hand as he brings it down towards Coldsteel. Putting his own hands up he catches the guard's forearm, struggling to keep the blade away from his torso. Turning the tables, he twists his hands downwards and uses the guard's momentum against him. Ebony redirects the blade straight into his opponent's stomach, reaching over with his free hand to yank his tags from his neck. (https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=vM9vWF1j1Pg ; go to 4:53 for visual demonstration) As the guard falls to the floor, Ebony quickly picks up his weapon and newsgroups with the others, not finding any more opposition left.

Ebony nods as Morgan explains the reasoning to his heavy weapons. The last thing he wants is to be outgunned in a fight. Following her to the elevator, he goes to the far corner and awaits for everyone to enter.

Ebony exits the vehicle and stretches, checking one last time to ensure everything is fastened tightly. Before continuing he turns around and reaches back into the van. A second later he pulls out an FGM-172 SRAW (Short Range Assault Weapon) and slings it over his back. Taking out three 139mm rockets, he loads one inside the SRAW and straps the other two to his lower back. With that done he catches up to the others and gives a thumbs up, remaining the strong, silent type of the group.
